This trip was initially meant to be a group travel but it ended up being a trip for 4 *thank goodness*. So, I had a genius idea to get a wax. I wanted to try something new cause shaving every week was no longer appealing to me. I told my boyfriend that I’m thinking of getting a wax treatment. The conversation went something like this:

My Blue Train Experience

The journey started as early as 06:30 in the morning at a mutual meeting place for a meet and greet with clients we were going with to the Blue Train experience. Our Blue Train trip was the Cape Town to Pretoria route, which meant we would head to Cape Town early in the morning. All of us spoke about the dress code and chuckled about how we would enjoy not having network for a few days. I had an energy drink that I thought would keep me up throughout the flight, but I woke up in Cape Town and the journey officially began.

So I recently read the 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma, after years of resisting it. In January 2021, I saw the book again after a lunch date with a loved one and I finally got it. The timing seemed perfect as well, I had a challenge getting back to waking up early and my life seemed to be spiraling out of control with unhealthy habits I adapted. I Woke Up in the North-West

Sunday evening, I had a show from 10 pm to 2 am on the 13th of December. It was the first show of the festive season on POWER 98.7, there was so much pressure to set the tone and be on my A-Game. But Kgoshigadi being Kgoshigadi, I didn’t sleep throughout the day. Excitement coupled with gophapha! We nailed it, according to my boss it didn’t sound like I hadn’t slept. After the show, I went to my friend’s place and slept in the car. About an hour into my nap, I woke up at a tollgate leaving Gauteng and into the North-West Province.
